Recent projects within Alarm Management

 Eldor has engineers with several years of experience doing alarm clean ups and alarm specification. Examples of alarm management services are:

  • Clean up (Rationalization) of alarms - Eight platform Valhall and HOD fields (Advant OCS and ABB 800xA DCS systems)
  • Clean up (Rationalization) of alarms  - Four platforms ULA and the Tambar fields. (Advant OCS and ABB 800xA DCS systems ) 

The projects started off with a feed study consisting of alarm assessment including planning and estimation of the main projects. The main project phase consisted of project management and facilitation of DCS vendor and BP operation personnel workshops. Eldor AS was responsible for the establishment of alarm philosophy and technical specifications, including design of an unified alarm system for the two technologies (Advant OCS and 800xA). The last phase consisted of planning and facilitation of workshops as well as the implementation offshore together with training of offshore personnel.

Eldor AS has also managed installation of Alarm Manager software for Valhall, Ula and the Skarv field.
