Eldor UK is a company started by engineers. We mainly work within control systems digitalisation, and alarm handling in the oil, gas, and process industries, and are based in Aberdeen.
We now have an increasing number of assignments and need employees with technical qualifications within control systems. There are also opportunities for collaboration with the other companies in the Eldor group, Kairos Technology and Blue Unit.

Preferred background
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, English speaking.
- Have good knowledge of PLC’s, SCADA, HMI, Industrial Networks and Cyber Security.
- Experience in Control Systems.
- Have a good willingness to Learn.
- Good Knowledge and Understanding of ABB 800xA Control Systems – Desirable.
- ABB 800xA upgrades SV6 – Desirable.
- Functional Safety Certification – Desirable.
- Offshore Certification – Desirable.
- Be Flexible and be prepared to travel to client sites.
- Knowledge of Process Control – Desirable.
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Systems Modifications and interpretation of Client Scope of Requirements.
- Preparation of Design specifications, Acceptance Test procedures, and Installation procedures.
- Management and Coordination of Work scopes.
- Provision of Ad-hoc support and be part of the On-Call support to our customers.
- Support Bids and Proposal Team.
- System Lifecycle Management.
- Documentation and Reports.
